According to a study conducted by the International Labour Organization, poor #diet on the #job is costing countries around the world up to 20% in lost productivity, either due to #malnutrition that plagues some one billion people in developing countries or the excess #weight and #obesity afflicting an equal number mostly in industrialized economies.
In Italy a research by INAIL, Istituto Nazionale Assicurazione contro gli Infortuni sul Lavoro on the subject shows that workers who bring food from home prefer fruit, vegetables and yogurt.
The availability of a wider variety/quality of products and #food in vending machines, the internal bar, and cafeterias is proposed as one of the possible solutions in the First World nations.
